ABOUT THE DESIGNER
I'm Alisha & I am the owner and founder of Brick & Brass Designs. I am the proud mother of 4 beautiful girls and the proud wife of my husband, Andy. I spend my free time working on the renovation of our 100-year-old historic home that is located in the charming foothills of the North Carolina mountains.Interior decor has been a passion of mine for many decades. My older sister went to college for Interior Design & I became entranced with her projects, spending hours studying her sketches & then recreating them. I finally put what I learned from my sister and years of decorating my own spaces to use when my husband and I sold our first home in 2017. I tediously staged our home, located in an area brimming with competition, and it sold less than 24 hours after listing. Both our realtor & buyers attributed the quick sell to the staging of the home. I would go on to stage more homes with record selling times, before finding a new passion in designing hair salons.
This led me to begin Brick & Brass Designs, with many of my first clients being salon owners who fell in love with my work in their salon spaces and asked me to design their living spaces as well. Part of my love for interior design is working with people. I am obsessed with making my clients happy and work tirelessly to that end. I strive to create unique, one-of-a-kind spaces, that are both sophisticated and liveable. I am enchanted by the challenge of making each space feel unequivocally like that of the client's, while also leaving my distinct signature. I feel like everyone deserves to have a space that makes them feel happy, excited, and proud, and my goal is to make my interior design services available to people with any budget.
